This 18th Century farmhouse is full of character with beamed ceilings and inglenook fireplaces. It was once one of the area’s principal farms and home to the famous West Street Hunt. The surrounding thatched barns are long gone but the property retains a large mature garden with gravelled drives to the front and rear, the latter providing secure car parking for guests.
Guests are welcome to use the charming walled patio area at the rear of the house to enjoy afternoon tea upon arrival and a delicious breakfast is served in the sumptuous dining room anytime between 7am and 9am – all fresh organic produce and cooked to order.
Two village inns both serving food are within 100 yards away and just one mile away in the historic town of Sandwich there are a selection of charming coffee shops and restaurants.
Perfectly located for discerning golfers, you will find a selection of superb links courses are a few minutes drive away including Royal St Georges, Princes and Royal Cinque Ports Golf Clubs. The European Headquarters of Pfizer – the pharmaceutical giant is also a short drive away.
